Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope you will be entertained and find some useful information in it. This is a new road for me, but there are so many things I've learnt and am busy learning that I feel the need to share some of it in the hope that you can avoid certain mistakes by reading about mine!
There are lots of subjects I would like to cover, and I'll try to label my posts adequately so that you can find information easily about what interests you. Topics I'd like to cover are, inter alia, designing and building your own home (or more accurately, how NOT to design and build your own home!); family life and values, quilting, beading, knitting and related crafts, some cooking, health, humour - I'll even throw in some subjective South African political commentary every now and then when the pressure in the pot becomes a bit high. There are bound to be others I can't think of offhand. I'll do my best to be as accurate as possible, but it will still be MY experiences of all these things, with plenty of scope for human error.
I hope to become more proficient at blogging, and when I've figured out how to add photos and do other technologically advanced things, this little world should become more colourful!
